Your first session
This page takes you through one session from the first question to the follow-up. You need nothing more than a browser signed in to Hyground.
Ask your first question

Click the Home icon in the left navigation. The Home page opens.

Type your message in the message box.

Press Enter. Hyground opens a new session and sends your message.

Wait while the agent works.

Click Tools to see which tools the agent ran.

Read the reply under the panel.

Type your next message and press Enter.
A simple question can need no tool. The reply then has no Tools panel.
Press Shift+Enter to start a new line without sending your message.
What happens while the agent works?
The chat area shows Thinking... under your question. The agent groups its tool calls in a Tools panel. A piece of the reply text arrives under each panel.

You can stop the reply or queue your next question while the agent works. See Stop the agent's reply and Queue a message.
What can you ask?
Ask in plain language. Name the system, the service, or the time window you care about.
The Home page also offers example questions. Point to Health, Resources, Troubleshoot, Security, Network, or Visualize. A list of questions opens. Click one, and Hyground puts it in the message box.
The row can also show a Get started! button. That button starts a session at once.
Ask a follow-up
The session keeps your first question and the reply. The agent reads that history when you ask again. Stay in the session for every question on the same topic.
After some replies a Suggestions button appears in the message box. Click it to show the suggested follow-up questions. Click it again to hide them.
Click a question to send it at once. Click the arrow icon beside a question to put it in the message box instead.
